We have been waiting for this day since the beginning of our marriage! Today while everyone is searching for Christmas gifts, our family is beginning the journey for a different kind of gift. We are excited to announce that we have begun the adoption process. We have been approved through Lifeline Children’s Services. This approval is a general approval. Our application is being forwarded to the Latin American Program Coordinator for Lifeline in the next few days. The Coordinator will be the one to give final approval for us to adopt from Colombia. Please be in prayer for her as she reads through our application. We are asking God for wisdom for her as she makes a very important decision. We are also asking that he grants by His grace the opportunity for us to adopt from Colombia. If and when this approval happens, we will be moving full steam ahead on the journey to our daughter!
